Earn CE Credits & Get a Free Lunch—Without Leaving Your Office!
Your time is valuable, which is why Delta Engineering & Inspection, Inc. will gladly come to your office to give an educational “Lunch & Learn” presentation to help you obtain Continuing Education (CE) credits and to make informed decisions in your important role as a property or association manager.

Our current classes are:

“Before and After the Storm“ #9628601 – 1 hour
Presented by Steven J. Mainardi, P.E., Principal & Owner, Delta Engineering & Inspection, Inc.
In this informative course, you will learn the ins and out of preparing for, responding to, and recovering from a hurricane as it relates to your role as a property manager. From design criteria to building codes, structural damage, and what do pre- and post-hurricane, this class will help you be prepared to handle any storm.

“Recognizing Signs of Structural Distress” #9628808 (1 hour)
Presented by Steven J. Mainardi, P.E., Principal, Delta Engineering & Inspection, Inc.
In this detailed class, you will learn how to recognize signs of structural distress in your associations’ buildings. From identifying signs of distress in concrete, stucco, and wood to understanding the causes of structural distress and what happens when signs of distress are ignored for too long, you’ll learn what actions to take to protect your associations’ buildings.

“If These Walls Could Talk” #9628809 (1 hour)
Presented by Steven J. Mainardi, P.E., Principal, Delta Engineering & Inspection, Inc.
In this in-depth discussion, you’ll learn about the different types of wall construction and detailing in your buildings’ exterior wall systems, the importance of routine maintenance, and various modes of failure that may occur. From painting to waterproofing, water intrusion to sealant failure, and crack repair to structural damage, you’ll be able to hear loud and clear what your walls are telling you.

“The Project from Hell: A Guide to the Straight & Narrow Path for the Property Manager” –  #9628807 – 1 hour
Presented by Matthew Mullins P.E., Sr. Project Engineer, Delta Engineering & Inspection, Inc.
How does a project go to Hell? Very easily. When you think about one of your past projects that went horribly wrong, you are probably calling to mind elements that went awry during the construction phase. However, most “Projects from Hell” start going off the rails much earlier and only manifest during the construction phase. Learn how to prevent your project from turning into a “Project from Hell,” or how to redeem one that’s already heading there, in this informative and entertaining presentation.

If you are interested in hearing about a topic you don’t see listed here, just ask! Delta can provide presentations on any particular subject and welcome the opportunity to come to your office or property to do so.
